Two weeks before its presentation to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in Paris, the Salt Lake City-Utah Committee for the 2034 Games announced its delegation team and highlighted the vision it will present to all IOC members on July 24 to bring the Games back to Utah.

SLC-UT 2034 announced its seven-member presentation team, which includes key elected officials, SLC-UT 2034 leaders, U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee leaders and Olympic and Paralympic stars.

"This is a remarkable team that recognises the positive impact of sport in our state and nation, and the readiness we bring to our quest to bring the 2034 Olympic and Paralympic Games back to Utah," said Fraser Bullock, President and CEO of SLC-UT 2034.

Bullock will lead the delegation and brings a wealth of experience in business and Olympic sports management. Utah's top elected officials, Governor Spencer Cox and Salt Lake City Mayor Erin Mendenhall, are integral to the presentation.

In addition, SLC-UT 2034 Chair Catherine Raney Norman, a highly respected four-time Olympic speed skater, has led the board and forged valuable relationships with the local and sports communities.

The efforts of SLC-UT 2034 have also been supported by Gene Sykes, Chairman of the Board of the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee, a noted Olympic leader and candidate for IOC membership at the upcoming IOC Session in Paris.

The team will include presentations from athletes such as Olympic champion Lindsey Vonn and Paralympian Dani Aravich, a world champion in Para Nordic skiing.

The presentation will last around 30 minutes and will focus on a vision to enhance sport, communities and the Games experience. It will present a Games Master Plan with an Athletes' Village and all venues within an hour's drive of each other. This is a sustainable plan in line with the IOC's vision, without the need for permanent venue construction.

As Chief of Athlete Experience for SLC-UT 2034, Vonn will highlight an athlete-centric plan that includes an initiative to create a Family Village to better support athletes' families.

Aravich, who has competed in both the Summer and Winter Paralympics, will share how Utah's sports leaders and programmes provided her with the path to achieve her dreams.

Governor Spencer Cox will highlight Utah's vibrant economy and diverse culture. Mayor Mendenhall will discuss the vibrancy that sport brings to communities, as well as the sustainability of all host communities and the state of Utah.

In addition to Mendenhall, the delegation will include two other mayors: Jenny Wilson of Salt Lake County and Nann Worel of Park City.

Raney Norman will speak about the role Utah's Living Legacy has played for over two decades in bringing athletes and communities together through sport.

To reinforce the principle of sport as a key community catalyst, three youth athletes, all active in local sports programmes, will be part of the SLC-UT 2034 delegation.

The presentation of the SLC-UT 2034 bid to the IOC Session as a whole is scheduled for 11:00 (France time) on 24 July, following the 2030 pitch from the French Alps. The presentations will be followed by a question and answer session with the IOC members.

Following the Q&A session, both the Salt Lake City-Utah and the French Alps 2030 bids will be put to the vote in Paris at around 12.00 p.m. during the 142nd IOC Session.

In addition to the Paris presentation, there will be a large watch party and celebration called CELEBRATE 2034. Washington Square in downtown Salt Lake City will be the epicentre of the event, with live coverage from Paris beginning at 3:00 a.m. MDT.
